Warranty Coverage

At Vulu we want you to be fully satisfied with your product, so we offer a 1-year return to base (RTB) warranty as standard on all products sold on Vulutech.co.uk (Unless stated otherwise on product detail page).

There are some exceptions to this:

  • Extended Warranty – If you purchased the 12 Month Extended Warranty on your device at the time of ordering.
  • New & Open-box Items - Items sold as new, or open-box will come with the manufacturer's standard 1-year warranty. Where the remaining manufacturer warranty is less than 12 months, Vulu will honour the shortfall, up to 12 months from the date of purchase.

What does the Vulu Warranty Cover?

Our warranty covers your product against hardware defects and faults that develop within the warranty period defined above. Your Warranty period starts from the day you receive your product. The warranty operates on a return to base policy (RTB) – this simply means that we will collect your machine and return it to our repair centre to repaired and or replaced.

*Please note if you are located outside of the UK, we are unable to offer a collection service. We ask that you pay the return postage, if the item is faulty, we will reimburse your postage cost*

Repairs can take up to 4-5 working days once the item has been received back and will be shipped back out to you on a next working day delivery service to any UK address.

Typical faults may include: (This list is not exhaustive)

- Hard drive failure
- Memory failure
- Screen/display issues (Cracked, damaged or broken screens are not covered unless the damage has been caused in transit.
- Dead on Arrival (DOA) Batteries
- Keyboard /Trackpad/Speakers not working.
- Power issues/Not Charging.

 

Problems or faults that are not covered include: (This list is not exhaustive)

- Software Problems (whether the software was pre-installed or not)
- Viruses, Spyware, Malware, Ransomware
- Physical damage
- Water/Liquid Damage
- Damage caused by third party upgrades or modifications.
- Malicious or intentional damage

Please note: All refurbished or renewed PC Computers and Laptops include Windows 10 as standard unless otherwise stated. If you have chosen not to have an operating system installed, you understand that you will need to purchase and install an operating system separately and that any software or driver related issues will not be covered by warranty.

Making A Claim

Please ensure you have your order number and/or serial no. (service tag) to hand when calling or contacting us.
